A Kids Book About Adoption

This book opens the door for anyone to start a conversation about adoption, told through the eyes of a kid who has been adopted as well as a grownup who’s adopted a kid. It breaks down some of the complexities of adoption and dives into what makes each story so unique and special.

About the Author

Leul Gurske was born in Ethiopia and adopted at the age of two. Now, he’s fourteen years old and lives in Oregon with his family. Nabil Zerizef and his wife adopted their son Adi at birth and they also live in Oregon where he works as an elementary school principal. It was there where these two families crossed paths and learned and grew together.
